On March 17th, 2022, Jack Roush Sr and Jack Roush Jr presented Lyle Sturgis and The TRP Team with the ROUSH Trophy Cup to celebrate the dealership once again being named the #1 ROUSH Dealership in the World!
During his acceptance speech, The Crazy Mustang Man thanked everyone who has helped us achieve this honor which is bestowed on the dealership with the most combined vehicle and parts sales. Toys for Tots Annual Toy Drive and Mustang Run
Each year the Tindol Team collects thousands of dollars worth of toys to help support The United States Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots Program. We also host a Mustang & Truck Run in which driver’s chaperoned by The Sheriff’s Department parade around Gaston County for the benefit of the kids. This attention really helps us gather more toys and donations for the less fortunate in this area by raising the awareness of the program.
Tindol First Responder Appreciation 2021
The Tindol Team showed our appreciation for the First Responders in our local community by feeding them a drive-by-lunch from Chick-fil-A and honoring them with an award that signifies our appreciation. We fed over 400 Hometown Heroes from all 5 branches of our County’s First Responders; County Police, City Police, Fire, EMT, and Sheriff.

Tindol’s 29th Annual Custom Car Cruise In
Thank you to everyone for attending our 29th Annual Custom Car Cruise In! We raised over $10,000 for the Piedmont Council Boy Scouts! Our Subaru Team also helped over 20 pets get adopted into loving homes!

The Tindol Ford Team has been delivering face masks to members in our local community on behalf of Ford Motor Company’s #FinishStrong initiative. Over 1M million masks have been donated to North Carolina and Ford’s goal is to donate 120,000,000 masks across the country!

Toys For Tots Annual Toy Drive & Mustang Run
The Toys For Tots program was founded in 1947 by The United States Marine Corps Reserves to collect toys for less fortunate children in the local community each year at Christmas time. With the generosity of our customers and team members, Tindol Ford Subaru ROUSH helps to collect hundreds of new toys for the program annually, and every second Saturday of December we also host a Toys For Tots Mustang Run. Cruisers show up early, donate toys, then participate in a police escorted cruise throughout Gaston County to raise awareness for the event.
First Responder Appreciation Ceremony
On December 9th, 2020 Tindol Ford & Subaru honored local first responders from the Gastonia Police Department, Gastonia Fire Department, Gaston County EMS, Gaston County Sheriff’s Office and Gaston County Police.
After our ceremony, Chick-fil-A Franklin Square provided 500 lunches for local first responders. The Tindol team handed out bagged lunches to first responders as they drove through the dealership parking lot.
The North Carolina Automobile Dealers Association handed out Hometown Heroes shirts and magnets to show their support.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this event happen. With your help, we were able to show our appreciation for the first responders that keep our community safe.
28th Annual Cruise Thru & Pet Adoption at Tindol
Like most things, the 28th Annual Cruise In at Tindol was quite a bit different in 2020. Instead of a Cruise In, the event was changed to a Cruise Thru. Drivers lined up at Tindol Ford early Saturday morning, then pulled out for a cruise down Franklin Boulevard in Gastonia, then on to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Like previous years, proceeds from the event were used to benefit the local Boy Scouts. The event also included Tindol Subaru’s Annual Pet Adoption, which is a part of our Subaru Loves Pets Month efforts to help local shelters and pets in need. At least 37 pets were adopted, making this the most successful event ever! The Tindol Team appreciates the support of our community and customers which allows us to raise funds for local youth organizations and help local pets find a loving home. Thank You!
